As Lunar New Year approaches, Histotech gathered its team for a joyous year-end lunch, the “Shou Gong Jiu,” a tradition marking the end of the year and welcoming the New Year with open arms. This festive event was not just about filling bellies, but about celebrating collaboration, good fortune, and the bonds that unite us.
The highlight of the lunch was the Lou Sang, a colourful salad bursting with symbolic ingredients. As colleagues gathered around the dish, chopsticks in hand, a joyous cacophony of well-wishes filled the air. “Huat ah!” (May you prosper!) and “Gong xi fa cai!” (Wishing you great wealth!) echoed through the room, a toast to aspirations and achievements.
